LEARN TO FISH SPOONS

30+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE STEELHEAD FISHING

Let's Get You Out Fishing!

Learn to fish SPOONS with Bent Rod

Join Bent Rod for his brand new class!

There is possibly no better way to catch an extra-large male Steelhead than fishing a spoon.
While all Steelhead will bite a spoon, large male Steelhead, the true trophies of the river, have a special dislike of spoons and will CRUSH it with abandon.

Fishing spoons can be very simplistic in tackle selection and gear requirements, but can also be one of the more difficult techniques to master.
This class consists of one afternoon in class at Bent Rod’s office, followed by a day on the water with Rod and two of your classmates.
In the class we will cover water selection, spoon techniques, spoon selection, and tackle options.
The river portion of the class will be a full day of casting spoons in some of the finest spoon fishing water on the Chilliwack River.

I can’t even describe the arm jolting ferocity of a Steelhead SMASHING your spoon as you swing it through a run… it’s the stuff of legend.
If a 20 pound Steelhead is on your bucket list then learning to correctly swing spoons is the class for you!
