COLOUR VARIATION Our soft plastics are hand made by Rod at our home business location. Consistency of colour batches is not guaranteed. Each batch will have slight variations in shade, pigment, opaqueness, glitter quantity, etc. The blend level in our split colour soft beads varies with each batch. Some beads come out with a sharp line contrast between the two colours, while others come out with a more twisted/blended colour mix. Bent Rods Jigs, Soft Plastics, and Spinners are designed and created by hand here in Bent Rod's workshop in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. Our raw materials and components are imported from Canadian and American suppliers. All order items are shipped together, no partial or multipart shipments.

Chinook Bead Pack #1 Comments Jun 2024

This is a nice blend of very usable bead colours and sizes to get started floating beads for chinook or steelhead. These beads are “not pin-able” out of the box but rather simply slide onto the hook. No problem for me as I think the hook up is better that way. Rod included some colour recommendations for different turbidity of water which is helpful. I compared these beads to same sized B&R beads for toughness and flotation, results are identical at a much lower cost. The box included is well made and of a nice compact design. The Chinook #1 Pack comes with 12, 14 and 16mm beads. Last year I personally saw pin fishers floating up to 30mm beads and out fishing everyone. To me, 30mm beads are excessive and gross to my eye, however, I would prefer the selection of this dedicated chinook packs to be larger beads in a 16, 19 and one in 20+mm range.
